Macmillan Cancer Support

The Brief
Macmillan Cancer Support has an amazing reputation. Everyone knows about their nurses and the incredible work they do for people with cancer. But people don’t realise that they do much more, actively improving the lives of people affected by cancer, providing practical, medical, emotional and financial support. The aim of this campaign was to make people aware of this, and to increase uptake of the services that Macmillan provide.

The Solution
The insight:1 in 3 people in the UK will be diagnosed with cancer, and all of us will be at least indirectly affected by it at some point in our lives. People need help – but the vast majority simply don’t realise it’s there for them.

We created a campaign that told people the facts and made Macmillan feel positive, approachable and supportive. The look and feel we chose set it apart from all other charities, and allowed us to convey whatever we needed to in a simple, creative way.

About Macmillan Cancer Support
As a team, we were briefed on the digital side of this campaign, The client really liked our work and our ideas. We were then given the opportunity to work on other aspects of it. Including press, outdoor and radio ads.
