What started as a 3 month freelance gig turned in to 4 year journey. We built an enterprise level Project and Portfolio Management platform and I transformed how Polarisoft viewed creative.
I was responsible for the creative direction of the entire business and its products and services, from initial concepts through to final production. Not just the UI & UX of the products but also our marketing campaigns.
I helped this organisation transition from an IT consultancy to a fully fledged software company

Brief
The business process and project management software sector can be very dull. Traditionally, enterprise level business tools were function lead with limited regard to UI and look and feel. I saw this as an opportunity to make a difference and inject some life in to what can be a little grey and lacklustre.
Solution
To increase productivity, give them a tool that they want to use, not a tool they have to use because their boss told them to. Make it simple enough for your entire team and pretty to look at and they will want to use it. A common mistake made by CEOs and heads of IT.
Some of the changes that I brought about
Before and After
These changes resulted in Polarisoft landing their biggest customer to date. Over 5000 new software licences globally

Apollo 11 poster
This animation was created in PowerPoint and is based on Julia Allum’s Apollo 11 illustration. The moment I saw it I wanted to make it move.
I love the way she captures moments in nature, events and locations in her unique and recognisable style. Needless to say, I am a massive fan.
